The Family Resource Center Coalition of Nebraska is a nonprofit membership organization made up of local family resource centers, individuals, community organizations, and businesses committed to helping children succeed by strengthening and supporting our families. Dues and benefits vary with the type of membership.

- A Family Resource Center must meet the following guidelines:
- Be community based;
- Focus on prevention, early intervention and family promotion;
- Have community collaboration;
- Have multi-agency collaboration;
- Have an information and referral system; and
- Be a nonprofit organization.
