All of our Programs are designed to provide children a stable, supportive family environment and increase parents' confidence and competence in their parenting abilities.

Early Learning Center 

Full-time, state licensed childcare now accepting new enrollment.  Academic based program utilizing the creative curriculum with affordable rates, big rooms, and small class sizes for children ages  6 weeks to 5 years.  Open M-F, 7:00AM - 6:00PM.  Secure, keypad entry and large, fenced playground.  Title XX welcomed.  Click on the links below for more information or call Renee Foley at (402) 471-9030 for an info packet or to schedule a tour

Academy of Rock

Literacy Programs

READ FOR JOY: A weekly class for parents and their children, ages birth-5 focusing on educational, appropriate activities with an emphasis on the importance of literacy in early childhood. Thursdays 9:30-11:00am. FREE       Class begins September 27th

ADULT LITERACY MENTORING: Weekly 1-on-1 mentoring & group classes with adult learners provided by certified literacy tutors. FREE    Class begins September 29th

Licensed Preschool

Quality, academic preschool experience! Children will learn color/shape/number/letter recognition & application in a structured environment as well as be encouraged to express themselves through creative play, art, dramatic play and music. Classes will center around weekly themes with circle time, centers, stories and songs, physical fitness and more! Daily snack provided and special events during the year.

Morning (9-11:30am) and afternoon (12-2:30pm) sessions available in 2, 3 and 5-day classes! Call Nancy Baker at 471-3708 for more information and to schedule a tour.

PRESCHOOL SUMMER CLASSES
Come join us this summer for fun and learning.  We will be offering three, week long sessions of morning preschool classes for 3,4 and 5 year olds.  Each week will have a different theme and will involve a lot of hands on science, reading, writing, arts and crafts activities.  You can sign up for 1, 2, or all 3 sessions.  Classes will be June 23-27, July 14-18, August 4-8 from 9:00 - 11:30 a.m.

Cost is only $35 per session and payment will be due on the first day of class.

Parenting Programs

Young Parents Program: A monthly information & support program for past and present teen parents - special events, incentives and meal included. 2nd Monday of each month, 5:30-7:30pm. FREE     Class begins Monday October 1st

Parents as Teachers: An early learning program for parents with children birth to age five including a monthly home visit from a trained, certified Parent Educator. $30/yr

Brownell Community Learning Center
State licensed before & after school enrichment program in partnership with Lincoln Public Schools for children grades K-5 enrolled at Brownell Elementary School. Program meets daily on school-days from 7:00-9:00am & 3:30-5:30pm, and 7am-5:30pm on select non-school days.
